Immersion in context
The project began with an immersion in professionals' daily work. I visited maintenance sites to understand working conditions, difficulties, environmental limitations and process stages.
The digitization of an industrial and forestry maintenance process, designed through direct observation of real working conditions.
The challenge was to transform a manual equipment-maintenance process used in both industry and forestry, eliminating paper and taking operations to mobile devices.
The project began with an immersion in professionals' daily work. I visited maintenance sites to understand working conditions, difficulties, environmental limitations and process stages.
Based on the research, we built two main flows: one for industrial operations and another for forestry operations. The design was developed daily with the client, who actively participated in decisions.
The flows guided screen creation and helped the development team understand the apps' rules, priorities and behaviors.
The solutions considered field use, mobility requirements and information clarity while tasks were being performed.
The end-to-end work—research, flows and interfaces—received unsolicited praise from the client teams in both industrial and forestry operations.
